I’ve heard a fair share of stories about millennials not buying homes. As a millennial, I did my due diligences to find out what would be best for me in terms of renting or buying. After looking at apartments, it became evident that renting was no longer an interest to me. Then, I went to Zillow and came across what is now my beautiful home. Ironically, this was the one and only house I looked at and fell in love.
I found out it was owned by King Park. Once I told King Park I was interested in buying the home, they were so excited to help me obtain my dream of becoming a homeowner. They walked me through step-by-step of how to be a part of this vibrant, diverse, and historic community. Being a first-time homebuyer, I thought it would be a daunting task, but working with King Park, along with INHP, helped relieve any fears I had about buying a home. What’s even more special is King Park is there to help and assist you even after you buy your home.
At this point, you can call me a non-traditional millennial because I have something I can call my own: my home.
Thanks to LaMar for sharing his story and welcome to the neighborhood!
