What is the most important career lesson you’ve learned thus far?
Learning how to work with a team and fully build confidence and trust. To get impactful results, there has to be a level of devotion to the group and the product.
What is your proudest moment at Intend Indiana?
Hands down, it’s been my involvement with our Monon 16 affordable home project. Being a part of this initiative, to help bring affordable housing and opportunities to the households in our community is my most rewarding experience. My team and I learned so much through this process, we are stronger and better able to move forward with presenting more affordable home opportunities in the future.
What does a typical day look like for you?
No day seems to look the same which I very much enjoy about my work with Intend. Every day has new challenges and obstacles, as I work across multiple programs.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I’m a self-taught tennis player. I’ve been playing for over 20 years. I started as a teen, progressing as time has gone by. So much so, I have played in tournaments all across the county.
What are the values that drive you?
Compassion. I truly believe in putting myself in others’ shoes to fully understand their needs, challenges, and hopes in order to deliver the best service I can possibly give.
