We are pleased to announce that Renew Indianapolis continues to attract more resources to the community. Renew’s CDFIs, Build Fund and Edge Fund, were awarded more than $500,000 to expand lending for small business development and affordable housing. These highly competitive grants will allow Renew to build on its successes and invest even more into the community.
Additionally, Renew Indianapolis received an $800,000 Office of Community Services (OCS) grant that will be invested in local businesses through the Build Fund. The OCS capitalized loans will be targeted to business creating jobs in the Indianapolis designated Opportunity Zone.
These highly sought after funds will be used over the next three years in markets lacking in access to flexible credit.
